Weeks U18 Majors alumni, Jacob Melanson was selected in the 5th Round 131st overall by the Seattle Kraken in the 2021 NHL Entry Draft. Melanson suited up for Weeks during the 2018-2019 season, leading the team in scoring & winning the NS U18 MHL Rookie Of The Year Award.
